What you are looking at
Fintraffic publishes over 800 road cameras and 500 road weather stations as open data under CC BY 4.0, which is why this page can show the images rather than link to them. Every camera here carries the surface temperature from the station Fintraffic itself names as nearest, and the time that station last reported. When a station stops — which happens in exactly the weather that makes it matter — the camera shows no temperature at all rather than the last one it had.
Road condition comes from Fintraffic's own forecast sections, and the page says which kind of reading it is. On the busy roads a road station measured it. On road 79 to Levi, nothing is station-backed at all, so the page says "modelled" — Fintraffic's model is good, but it is a model, and on a page about a road you are about to drive the difference is worth a word.
Sweden, Norway and Iceland come in phase two. Each has an open road-camera feed and each has its own licence and attribution to verify first; nothing appears here until that is written down in where the data comes from.
